Customer Responsibility – Health and Safety
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that a risk assessment has been carried out prior to delivery. The customer must ensure that all goods, including glass and polycarbonate sheets, are handled safely using the relevant safety equipment, that safe access is provided for delivery and handling, and that all staff involved are properly trained and suitably instructed in the handling of the goods.
Any safety concerns, requirements, or issues must be notified to Master Plastics SW Ltd prior to confirming the delivery.
Master Plastics SW Ltd accepts no liability for any injury, damage, or loss arising from unsafe handling, failure to follow appropriate safety procedures, or failure to notify safety concerns prior to delivery.
1. Polycarbonate Sheet Deliveries
All polycarbonate sheets are cut to size to fulfil your order, and as such, they are supplied as made-to-measure products.
-
Prepayment Requirement: Orders for made-to-measure products cannot be cancelled or refunded once manufacturing has commenced. Full prepayment is required before manufacturing begins.
-
Size Tolerance: All quoted dimensions are approximate. Made-to-measure sheets may vary by ±5mm due to cutting tolerances and manufacturing processes. Customers should allow for this when measuring.
For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands around the UK, and Ireland, an additional delivery charge may be requested by the local carrier delivering in your area. These charges are in addition to the charges on our site. Orders to these areas are not guaranteed. If extra charges apply, we will inform you. We reserve the right to cancel orders where delivery charges exceed the amount paid.
2. Unwanted Goods
-
Orders may be cancelled within seven working days of receiving the goods without giving a reason, except for made-to-measure polycarbonate sheets, which cannot be refunded or cancelled once manufacturing has commenced.
-
Goods must be returned in the same condition as delivered, with protective films intact. Boxed or bagged items must be returned in their original, complete condition, not part-used.
3. Polycarbonate Returns Policy
-
Made-to-Measure Products: Custom-cut polycarbonate sheets cannot be returned or refunded once manufacturing has commenced. Full prepayment is required prior to manufacturing.
-
Standard Size Products: There is a 25% restocking charge for any standard polycarbonate orders that are cancelled after confirmation but before dispatch.
-
Unwanted or Over-Ordered Sheets: Any unwanted standard-size sheets must be returned at the customer’s expense within 14 days of delivery.
Size Tolerance: All products may vary by ±5mm from quoted dimensions.
4. Returns (Non-Sheet Goods)
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in resellable condition with packaging intact. Some goods, including any product cut to size, are exempt from being returned.
No item can be returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Delivery methods include our own transport, manufacturers’ transport, or freight companies.

Prepayment Requirement: Full prepayment is required before dispatch of all made-to-measure items.
-
Size Tolerance: All polycarbonate and U-PVC sheets may vary by ±5mm. U-PVC and polycarbonate also expand or contract with temperature changes; allow for ±15mm expansion tolerance.
